There Is No Civil War Coming
A possible coming civil war due to the abysmal state of political, social and economic affairs has become a normal course of conversation. There is no coming civil war. Stop kidding yourself.
Prologue
14 months ago, I published a piece entitled “Civil War: Casualty Number One.” There are times when redundancy becomes a journalistic necessity that depends on many factors. The subject matter, the dynamics of the subject (be they fluid or stagnant) and chronology (past or present). The most dangerous ingredient being the assumed knowledge and intellect of the collective aggregate population, vis-à-vis, audience. Prejudices notwithstanding.
The aforementioned having been stated, I find no sensible reason to reinvent the proverbial wheel in this piece though it is an unintended, reluctant, dreaded and preordained sequel. This tub shall stand on its own, albeit a reading of the first piece will provide a three dimensional effect. For your convenience, outrage, edification and pleasure, I am providing the following link to that article and strongly suggest you read it after this one.
Most importantly, consider the time that it was written. The only redundancy or repetition that you might find is pursuant to the unfortunate reality that the term must be defined. The intellectually developed few among us know that terms must always be defined. https://rohnkenyatta.substack.com/p/civil-war-casualty-number-one
Civil War (sivil ˈwôr): A Definition
In its rudimentary and general aspect, the noun “civil war” is defined as a war between citizens of the same country. More specifically, a civil war is a war between organized groups within the same state. The aim of one side may be to take control of the country or a region, to achieve independence for a region, or to change government policies.
Given the composition of U.S. society, from an adversarial legal system to a duopolistic political party system and an apartheid society, only the mentally challenged would argue that these are not prima facie forms of civil war. Which, in turn, indicates a societal system that is always in a state of civil war to one degree or another. Therefore, the only real question becomes when is it civil war from a subjective declarative standpoint and there is no civil war coming in my humblest of opinions.
There Is No Civil War Coming
In the past three months there have been three attempts to assassinate Donald J. Trump, a former president of the United States and the current presidential nominee of the Republican Party. The first attempt occurred at a rally in Butler, PA. on July 13, 2024. The second “attempt” occurred on September 15, 2024 while the former president was golfing at his International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. On October 12, 2024 a possible third assassination attempt was thwarted near Trump’s rally in the Coachella Valley of California. I cannot recall any precedent in U.S. history when a political figure has been targeted in three (potentially four) assassination “attempts” and defiantly survive; but that is quite another matter.
All of the aspiring assassins have been European-American (aka “white”) males.
Just over a week ago, on October 22, 2024, a 60-year-old named Jeffrey Michael Kelly was arrested in Maricopa County, AZ. Kelly is suspected of being behind three shootings targeted at a Democratic Party campaign office in Tempe, Arizona. Subsequent to execution of a search warrant for Kelly’s residence, officials allegedly discovered body armor, 120 guns (of all varieties), a quarter of a million rounds of ammunition and a grenade launcher.
Jeffrey Michael Kelly is a white boy.
Less than 96 hours ago, the U.S. Supreme Court granted a temporary stay in the ongoing legal dispute over Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin’s executive order that resulted in the removal of over 6,000 Virginians from the state’s voter rolls. The court’s six conservative justices supported the stay, with the three so-called liberals dissenting. Ironically, just two months before, Frank Carillo of Winchester, Virginia, was arrested for threatening to assassinate Kamala Harris. The threats against Joe Biden and Harris are too numerous to mention.
Ain’t no fun, when the rabbit got the gun and only the dullest of minds is unaware of who the rabbit is for the hunter is always the victor…until the lion tells the tale.
Right about the same time of the U.S. Supreme Court decision referenced supra, incendiary devices were deployed in ballot drop boxes in two states, Washington and Oregon, just a week ahead of Election Day. Authorities are on high alert for the possibility of violent incidents driven by claims of election fraud, including the sabotage of ballot drop boxes. The ballot boxes that went up in flames were located in Portland and Vancouver. Though many of the ballots in the Portland box were recovered, hundreds are assumed to be lost in the Vancouver incident.
Epilogue
In the fifth paragraph of this article, I rhetorically state “…the only real question becomes when is it civil war from a subjective declarative standpoint and there is no civil war coming in my humblest of opinions.” I absolutely, positively without an O.J. Simpson doubt stand by my opinion that there is no civil war coming. I make such a statement with supreme confidence because, by definition, it is not coming.
It’s already here, baby.
April 9th 1865 at Appomattox Court House General Lee of the Confederate Army of Virginia surrendered to General Grant Commander or the Union Army, effectively ending the military conflict between Southern Fascist Dictatorship and Northern Unification democracy.
I can tell you that having spent my formative years in the racist South, no southern white men believed that this was the end of the Civil War.
The Southerners and there racist economic systems were, in the end, given a pass by the union government, (save open slavery) and reorganization assimilated southern white supremacy into what we have been living with in this country since that time.
The white supremacy that defines and devides our country today has been baked into the philosophy of oligarchy and apartheid throughout our systems of government as well as our economic systems to date.
159 years later, after a military surrender following the highest war time death toll in the history of the country, the white supremacist movement is currently so fearful that they will loose their nationalist God given privileges for domination over their psychological and economic slaves, that they are on the verge of reinstating violence as a last resort in order to attempt to solidify there contrived dominance.
They are not satisfied with 159 years of privilege and domination. They are threatening to kill their neighbors to maintain power.
As a white man living in rural America who has chosen to evolve from systemic hate and religious doctrines of domination, I refuse to bow down to manufactured ignorance or fear.
I will not be intimated and I will not be subjugated. Civil war has been perpetrated here, as you have rightly pointed out, since my immigrant ansestors invaded this land, and possibly and probably before.
In this most recent iteration of the aspirations of weak and fearful white men around the world, I will not bow down to be subjugated, and my guess is, neither will the rest of the world.
You are so right my friend.
The civil war is, and always has been here.
The differences I see in quality of character and intellectual abilities this time around may be signaling the beginning of the end of this contrived white supremacy for good and all.
Blood will flow in the death throws of their hateful movement because this time as in the past, they are promoting a death cult to intimate those who would fight them, but in the end they will loose again as they always do because their cause is unjust and built on greed, fear and hate.
I will not bow down nor fear victory because subjugation is not an option.
Be well and stay safe my friend.
Ain't no doubt
