Dear me. You know that in my mongrel American brain I am giving you room to be all the Kenyatta you gotta, but man, this is beyond the pale. I mean seriously, it made me blanche.
Regarding black cats. One day a black cat walked by us and all the cousins were oh no-ing that bad luck had just crossed our path. Of course, me being the youngest, they had to explain it to me. I thought their explanation over and said, it's only bad luck cause you think it is. I'm gonna think its good luck for me. Which earned me a lesson on the law of averages from my uncle. Such is the early training of a contrarian mind.

Glad to supply mirth, though it wasn't really meant to be amusing.

Well, Sir Satiricus, it is a prudent culinary practice practice to always blanch green vegetables before freezing.
Black humour, good sir?
I prefer to think of it as Black Magic, Madame.

Be wary of the "average" whether proletariat, bourgeoise or some other type labelized mutt.
This prompted me to listen to an old song by a group called Stories, "Brother Louie"
I know the song well.
