Your clarion call for respect, as a bottom line for reclaiming our humanity, is appreciated, as is your joining respect and admiration to name a way of experiencing love. In my Love Arts work, over decades, I find many aspects of the divine state we humans 'remember' in our bones, and often long to return to. Blessings
Rohn, I’m hesitant to post this comment but in my stubbornness decided to proceed. As we move into our 80s, things become more difficult, unless you’re a hardass like me.
Barbara is a brilliant writer but has been having a hard time. A few months ago, I published the last book she wrote and had worked on for a few years. I encourage her to write regularly and lately I’ve asked her to write short stories, so I can put a few in a book.
She wrote one for Halloween and I’m sharing a link to it because I believe it relates to the topic of respect. Here is the link to the Halloween story.
This afternoon she wrote one about a Christmas years ago that brought me to tears. I want to share it with friends and the first person I thought about was you. It doesn’t relate to the topic, but perhaps you and some of your readers will enjoy it as much as I did. Plus, it gives me the chance to wish you and your readers all the best for the holidays despite the upcoming unpleasantness. Here is the link to the Christmas story.
Because you give me the comfort of knowing I am not alone. Unfortunately, many of US have lived lifetimes of disrespect and that, Madame, marks the end of the road for those that disrespect. Centuries of disrespect has consequences: the first of which is that respect will never be granted for 'tis far better to die on one's feet, than to live on one's knees. And the disrespectful minority has hell to pay.
Outstanding letter, and I do abide. Thank you, Rohn, and hope that by reStacking today, your simple and important message, reaches the rightful recipients of.💥🙏💯👍
Wow, out of the ballpark again and right on target. Lack of respect has ended more friendships and family connections in my life than I can count. There is no relationship of any kind without respect and I damn sure don’t have to earn it.
This post really touched me and ending it with Aretha just blew me away. I just have to disagree with one thing you said. Without a doubt you have a groundbreaking way of saying things that I always look forward to, but I find everything you say groundbreaking and an extraordinary learning experience. It’s always things I know but have never felt so deeply. Thank you!
The caucasoid has utilized the chains of "love" to create this alternate societal ideology that completely erases respect from the equation. The "Ice Man inheritance" has really presented some interesting context to the status of humanity.
I think the old cliche hard to respect someone who doesn’t respect themselves gets lost in the fact that people don’t feel they are valued, and who would when their dad comes home drunk every night and kicks their teeth in. We must value everyone so they can respect themselves.

Barbara sends her regards.
Beautiful.
And god knows beauty looketh not for me: I must search for it.
Rarely does it come-a-knockin'.
Thanks Rohn, I will convey this to Barbara.
Just yes! Yes to it all !
And most definitely RESPECT to us ALL!
So well said my friend.
Is it wrong to wish you and yours a good holiday before earth cracks open and the Orge settles his large ass onto his perceived thrown?
Because I do!
I do wish you well! Happy Holidays however and whatever that may bring
Because my friend?
I respect you
And I you.
Why?

Sooner rather than later.
Great post or column or whatever you call it. Forces me to stop and think.
Then, my mission is thereby completed.

A comment that is worthy of framing (and I shall).
What I failed to mention is that once disrespect is "earned," respect can never be retrieved. THIS is the tragedy that many do not realize. Or won't.
It seems more and more the case that so many cannot realize the critical importance of respect. It’s definitely their loss.

My man!
