Remain cognizant that my "viewpoints" are always rooted in iron-clad, impenetrable, bulletproof, irrefutable and hermetically sealed fact. That's what being trained to litigate gets one.

"They said to him “what motherfucker you gone kill all of us?” “Leave that man alone!” “get your bitch white ass the fuck out of here!” They had circled all of the cops. At some point a sergeant walked up to the officer and said to him: “you shoulder that goddamned weapon! Are you out of your mind! You are 10-7!” The sergeant apologized to me, all the brothers got back in their vehicles and he waved us all through."
Unite and defend and scare the shit out of the shitlessly scared who think their fear can be overcome if they only point a weapon.
The better way would take the weapons out of the shitlessly scared' hands but that won't happen until they become too scared because they are challenged to 'kill all of us."
Once during a Ghandi rally, and i don't remember exact, the European British massacred several hundred challengers. The next day there were more challengers, and the day after more challengers and the European-British packed away their weapons, afraid to use them and hightailed themselves back to European-Britain.
Some may die, but more are freed from the future threat, I think.
Louise, I commend you for feeling pride, as opposed to anger, when Michelle spoke honestly of what her heart felt. But please, we will all benefit by not taking what we encounter in life overly personal. Clearly Rohn was not singling you and I out. Writing a great account of a lived life in a racist society like ours does not require constant reassurances that he doesn't mean YOU. You know who you are, the rest of us do too. Be proud, stand tall. Don't look for arguments!
That's original. Can't "you people" come up with some new material?
You don't know a goddamned thing about my life.
The Alkebulanians problem is not anger, it is a lack of anger.
Put that bagel down and let me advise you of something, European-American woman (I assume given name) Black People in the United States are not angry enough. See, because when we get angry enough there will be no more Jordan Neeley's, LaTasha Harlins, Rodney King's, Trayvon Martin's, Tamir Rices, Emmet Till's, Atatiana Jefferson's, Breonna Taylor's, Sandra Bland's, Eula Love's, Ron Settles', Jordan Davis's, Oscar Grant's and George Floyd's. How dare your arrogant, white supremacist, pasty ass get on this thread and tell me something about "anger."
When you can show me where a black man has stolen your land, taken your name, taken your religion, taken your liberty, murdered you, brutalized you, lynched you, murdered your children as they play with a toy or a young girl while she sleeps, enslaved you, humiliated you, called you "property" and an animal, raped your women and got paid to do it then and only, then will you have standing. So you may now secure that white supremacist bullshit and unsubscribe from this community.
Additionally, as long as you are pale and your ass faces the ground don't ever get in this forum and insult me, or my people, again.
Finally, you don't know if I have "solutions" or not. Not that it is remotely incumbent upon me to find a solution to your problem, What is your goddamned "solution?" I have no interest in appeasing you or any other European-American. You have neither the intellectual wherewithal nor credibility to put me on defense with such elementary (and unoriginal, tired) tactics; I am on offense, dear.
If you don't like the truth as presented here, breeze.
Eloquently stated. I regretted responding to her after I did. Clear Karen material with her injured feelings! How dare you be angry! Not my fault! My God. I'm learning.
You are so gracious! I tell you, I. Do. Not. Know. How. You. Put. Up. With. The. BS. Seriously! Personally, I found this essay to be especially good. Top 3 of the ones I've read. You are best when you are pissed and writing about personal experiences on a granular level. IMHO.
"I hope to feel that way again."
Mr. Kenyatta, I too, hope you feel that way again. At that point this will be a better place for all of us.
I appreciate you sharing your viewpoint . It helps me to gain a relatively broader, fuller understanding of lives lived beyond my own in America

The way it needs to be done every time:

Thank you, Jo.
That means a whole lot to me.
I hope your husband knows how fortunate he is. I am sure he does.
