Well I started getting really ill about a week or so before the election, unable to digest. I'm doing better, eating the last two or three days.
The point that has got my gander up is not that Trump did win, but that I really really really despise him. I can hardly stand up and my weight after the last two weeks fell under 130, but damn it, I want him, in the ring, anything goes and he wouldn't come out alive. I don't think i've ever had hatred before, anger, yes, hatred no.
Why I despise him so much I don't know, but it grows and grows...I didn't care about who won the presidency as much as I cared about who won the rest of the Congress, and now after the congressional shellacking...I don't know, I can't think of an election where what I hoped would occur ever had the outcome i hoped for would occur and progressives in Congress never did anything progressive, welfare and housing aren't progressive, dignity and respect are progressive.
But I'm a nutcase. Don't agree solutions are going to occur in the halls of Congress but in the actions of individuals...and that man he breathes lust and has nostrils that are like Rudolph's. He wants to taste blood and see blood.
But I expected him to win. Didn't want him to win, but thought he would. He wins because we are in competition with each other and fearful and are taught victory can come only by turning fear into hatred.And I just never damn well figured out how to make people realize the competition is imposed on you by those same people making you fear and offering god both to control you by performing all the evil acts that God requires of you so you can go to heaven and sit on hard benches singing songs of praise to the blessed one who taught you to obediently hate.
And of course no one has to wait on heaven to take their lives, they can gladly all beginning singing praises to their Trump in real merrily marching off to destroy their fears, but then what? tomorrow you are taught to fear another... there is no end, and it will not get better until people can learn that fear is placed in their mind to make them subservient butchers of themselves who are really the ones they are allowing to be sled to slaughter.
I just can't see any positivity at the moment and that makes me so angry... angry enough to be afraid for others; angry because everyone will be too fearful to save each other and too fearful not to think it's fun to be the butcher.
So come on Donald, bully mouth Donald with the big bully, I want you to prove your'e strong enough to pummel this old man, you're a year older, I know, don't use that as an excuse, cause you got at least 150 pounds on me and a couple of inches, and you can see and I can't. Or prove you're a wimp and send your guarddogs. But do something and if you can't beat this decrepit old nut, then i'll rip you apart.
But you're not even that strong are you? You need to send an army to round up children. Come on, you want to kill your enemies I'm your enemy and I wouldn't be afraid of you if you kill me---no no no, i'm not even important enough for that, am I?

But only if you're brave enough to get into the ring with me, I ain't coming after you to assassinate you, I'm just telling you you will never face me. Honestly, one of the more disgusting results for me was CA prop 6.... so many "Democratic", nominally progressive minded people, in favor of the furtherance of slavery...I guess I really shouldn't have been surprised though.

I appreciate that Q. I also agree about the ACA, but it was, literally, a day late and a dollar short for me. Further, it still leaves millions uninsured (or underinsured) because it is, in fact, "insurance." Obama caved to the insurance/healthcare lobby because what was supposed to take place is what every other single civilized country has: public healthcare. Ergo, my reference to it as a "marginal" accomplishment.
