As Democrats participate in and initiate nationwide anti-Smitty (Trump) protests a sobering reflection is required because "US" history proffers an inconvenient truth.
With gratitude and humility for and to you, I thank you again for your razor sharp commentary. Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing about where this country is and will certainly be, was or is unpredictable to anyone who has any idea or knowledge of the actual reality of their own life and the history of their own families in this country.
You have sharpened to a fine edge the reality that so many people in this country have decided to deflect, ignore or delay due to their complete willful denial about the truth of theirs and our existence here in Amerika.
I am confident that your exacting commentary will cut through the apathy.
I am dismayed that what you know and share with your readers has not been digested and assimilated many years prior.
The reality of generations of poorly educated disenfranchised populations of this country propagating morons who then propagate idiots who then have no choice but to follow propaganda because critical thinking was lost to them generations earlier is an observation that has an important place in the responsibilities and consequences that we are all facing and dealing with on a daily basis.
I continue, after many years, to regret that so many of us are so incapable of recognizing what should be predictable consequences of our actions.
You, my friend, put detail to those actions and their consequences in a way that few are willing, or possibly able to. Your studies and respect for Malcolm's work are serving you and all of us well, for this and future life times.
Thank you again for sharing your pride, your knowledge, your talents and your wisdom.

Brother Joel, I don't like European-Amerikans calling me "bro" because I recognize it for the insult that it is. And, though we have yet to meet, I have been awed through these years of your support, intelligence and respect. I am absolutely honored to call you my "brother."
I agree that only violent resistance to fpotus's et al regime will be effective to get rid of the ongoing white supremacy. Not necessarily started by liberty supporters, but definitely met in kind. This regime, like others in the US before it, will not, has not, hesitated to use violent means to achieve its goal of complete domination by white men over everyone.
"I once had a European-Amerikan male that labeled himself as a Democrat tell me: “We like MLK Blacks, we don’t like Malcolm X Blacks.”
of course during the civil rights movement , all us "white supporters" were told this.
MLK marched peacefully and was violently attacked because he didn't defend himself.
Malcolm threatened violence and us "white non-supporters" shit our pants and backed down. You may know better and tell me if I'm wrong, but I can't recall a single instance where Malcolm's appearance didn't cool the tensions because the whites thought he meant violence.
You have to sometimes threaten the coward before he slinks away. Of course I want peace, but peaceful demonstrations can get pretty violent.
So the truth is bullies are afraid of being bullied in kind, but have all the courage in the world when protests are too peaceful.
Peace comes by believing force ,might be used-and then frequently it turns violence on its head and peace might occur (temporarily).
How so> By proclaiming "you treat that man like he treats you?" By appealing to the Alkebulanian brain, as opposed to the non-existent white heart (which was the only difference, though stark, between Malcolm and Martin)? Or, by saying damn being a part of you, because you, by your own design, will never be "US." Therefore, give us our own and leave us be; those that wish to stay on the plantation with you...let them.
Other than that, particularly given my adoration and knowledge of the man, I am at a loss to find where, or when, he "threatened violence."
As I've said before, Rohn, Malcolm was ahead of his time, being that, because of his intense, sharp, to the Point and Peaceful speeches. Admireration is what I hold for him, and you. Thank you again, and will reStack ASAP 🙏
What do you mean by (see what I did there?) ? - I don't see. The main point here is the violence. I am not very good with all this digital paraphernalia.
Ahh so many succinct lines I would like to ‘borrow’ in this piece. Has any country escaped bloody revolutions to eliminate evil? Thank you for your insightful recognition of where we are in America today.
I still remember the day I heard about the MLK, and Malcom X exhortations to demonstrate for rights of Alkeybanians. I was in 6th grade (rural SoCal) and I asked my friend since kindergarten,Theodora Crawford, is it true you are discriminated against? She said it is all true - the lynchings, in ate as and the South denied entry to restaurants, bathrooms, jobs even Little League for children.
My family did not discriminate and all of us growing up believed Jesus loves the little children (every one) all (equal) the little children of the world.
WOW when I grew up and went out into the world I learned not everyone believed that. In fact I was warned to keep my indiscriminate values to myself. Which I did not. They don’t call me Miss Carol for nothin’.
I understand. When I speak of the nation known as Israel being an annexation of the United States I speak in practical, ideological, political and strategic terms. Further elucidation would become an abysmal rabbit-hole. I directly refer to the close political, economic, and military ties between Israel and the United States. By describing Israel as an "annexation," I am saying that the relationship is so intertwined that Israel functions almost as an extension or strategic outpost of U.S. interests in the Middle East. One need only observe U.S. foreign aid to Israel, shared geopolitical goals, and the influence of pro-Israel lobbying groups in American politics.
The history exists.
Thank you for your sincere comment and readership. The greatest comments I get are not those of agreement or acquiescence, but those that use the words that speak of being made, and sometimes forced, to "think." The day I cease to be a catalyst for the singular process I am useless.

"Malcolm threatened violence..."
How so> By proclaiming "you treat that man like he treats you?" Please advise and enlighten.
I meant in Texas and the South.

P.S. as in your initials.
Another great essay - thank you.

A distinction without a difference given that the nation known as Israel is an annexation of the United States.
