I learn something every time I read your work. I have tried to learn something new every day and that intention makes me feel that I am living a productive life with purpose.

Whatever I learn on any particular day is usually dwarfed on those days when I learn from your words.

The article in the LA Times was not particularly enlightening considering that it was literally manifested yesterday, no need to consider the date or the author of the article.

The article does however expose the cultural and intellectual depravity of the white Amerikan perspective, and how to propagate supremacy.

The article makes unavoidably evident that the sycophantic belief system of white supremacy that produces arrogant ignorance brought on by undeserved and unearned excessive wealth, usually acquired through generational inheritance is incestuous corruption.

That undeserved and unearned excessive wealth is built on the sweat and blood and lives of all people of color who have been kept poor and poorly educated.

The white supremacist who is poor and poorly educated is also being manipulated and extorted by their masters, thereby providing political support for the propagation of their false belief of supremacy, but in reality, only the extraordinarily wealthy benefit.

It's a racket, a scam, it's a hustle, and for some reason the majority population of this country is moronic enough to buy every piece of the contrived patriotic bullshit.

the reno gazette, which is still around as the only paper in this county that I live in, devoted the entire edition to the fight. It begins:

"The much-heralded "greatest fight of the century," so-called, is now a matter of pugilistic history.

From some standpoints it was not a fight; from others it was marvelous demonstration of the utter fallacy of an athlete, once out of condition for some length of time, to ever expect to regain his former supremacy, on one hand, and on the other, the possession of marvelous cleverness covered in a great measure until the critical hour."

In other words, Jefferies was out of shape and Johnson was a trickster. In other words, had been the man he was and Johnson hadn't darted around the ring l"like the coward he proved to be" pg.8 until Jefferies had totally expended his energy, Jackson wouldn't have won. "Everyone knows that no black man would stand a chance if he had been willing to trade blows with a white man," pg. 14.

And then, well, in 1976, the great white Rocky traded blows with the stars and stripes adorned Apollo. America was thus able to celebrate it's bicentennial returning the glory of the white man to power; just as a century before during it centennial year it elected to pardon the former slave owners and allow them to "decertify" the elected black officials in Florida, South Carolina & the creole (French-black inheritance) whites in Louisiana.

And we are just warming up for our 250th birthday of intoleration.

Let us all give blessings to the patron God of White.

But the white God didn't save their empires in the malays, or the Pacific archiplagos, or India, or Africa.

Could Trump only be warming up the American whites for their last ignoble takedown?

we will see.

Why how else could he "ever expect to regain his former supremacy." Problem is, the term former indicates that one was once in possession. European has never been in possession.

One of these days I'll have to tell you my "Rocky" story. Let me suffice it to state that I had to remind one of my alabaster brethren that it was only a movie. He didn't quite realize that so, being the philanthropist that I am, I felt it was my civic duty to readjust his reality orientation.

I hope it was a mild attitude adjustment

"alabaster brethren". I must remember that.

I was never polished enough to be alabaster, but I have had to adjust my attitude. you and I once had a discussion about the angry black man, and you had to adjust my attitude, in fact, you've done so many times

.But nevertheless I've frequently been called an angry white man.But if I were not angry then I would despair and being angry at what I view as wrong allows me to remain at equilibrium with myself and not sink into escapist fantasies of heroes, gods, drink, drugs or sustained depression.

But I don't act in anger, that requires a calmness and a lack of fear.

If one can be angry appropriately and appraise all situations reflectively one can readjust one's reality through.

If one sees the world only through a lens of tigers running amok in one's mind then probably the adjustment might require a few stitches.

Oh he was okay, nothing that some tissue in each nostril and a few ice cubes wouldn't comfort. Though I am relatively certain he has no desire to ever make my acquaintance again. That is unfortunate.

That LA Times editorial turned my stomach. I know that’s how many people thought/think, but to read in print puts it on a whole different level.

Indeed.

What was meant about holding the nose too high translates to look down. Do not meet my gaze. The L.A. Times has tried to bury that editorial for 115 years. The saddest thing is that nothing, absolutely nothing has changed in terms of the white supremacist mindset; it just looks different. Same shit, different smell and I'll be more than damned if I am going to cower to it.

Yes, I got it. Anyone who’s read even one of your posts would ever think otherwise. Fuck them 115 years ago and every day since then ’til Gabriel blows his horn.

funny...the Reno gazette just republished its account of the fight...but I suppose it remains the most famous article that paper ever published... the only article the poor paper shot around the world.

But then it still never quite mustered the fame of a Virginia City report forty-five years earlier about jumping frogs.
