If Donald Trump spends a day in a lock-up prior to the 2024 general election for whatever political or civil crimes he is alleged to have committed, I will never write another column.

I think you miss the point of Trump's popularity, Mr. Kenyatta. Most of the people who vote for him are only racist in the clueless snow-blind way all us crackers are, nor are they particularly violent-minded. They're sick of politics and political people. They want somebody real even if he is an idiot. They didn't think Trump was smart enough to use them as badly as the previous 44, and they were right.

As for Trump, I think he will not be able to control his mouth and the Sister Judge will hold him in contempt of Court. If she decides to incarcerate him, it, as you have said, will be a disaster for the U.S.
It will also be the end of the U.S.
Civil War II will be catastrophic, and drain the U.S. of all of it's available resources. China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, and Venezuela will watch with glee, and Brazil, India, and South Africa will dance for joy.
And the European City-States will cry in horror as their Western base evaporates. It's simply the end of another empire. We may actually get to witness it with our own eyes.
I believe, unless he dies a natural death, Donald Trump will be convicted and sentenced to a jail term. So either way, Civil War II is coming. It can't be avoided.
