The Next Shoe to Drop
After the Trump assassination attempt, the peril the United States faces is enormous on many, many fronts.
I am only intelligent enough to both recognize, and be humbled by, how intelligent I am not. An oxymoronic statement only an intelligent person will understand. The recent shooting of Donald Trump, or some other politician, is something I predicted two months ago. That hardly makes me brilliant, but it does make me wonder. Because it took somewhere south of a mental giant to know that something of that nature was going to happen and what puzzles me is how it wasn’t obvious to everyone else. Intellect, real or imagined, be damned. Assassin-Nation
One of Socrates’ (who studied in Alkebulan) greatest statements was "The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing."
Alkebulan, renamed “Africa” by Europeans, is stereotyped as a land of desert, “jungles” and lions. The reality is Africa contains about 15 per cent of the world's remaining forests and is second only to South America in the amount of forests. Keep that “top of mind” (what an insipid statement) as you read on.
The Garden and The Jungle
On October 13, 2022, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell made a speech in which he referred to Europe as a “garden.” He went on to state that the rest of the world, the global melanic majority, was a jungle. He was “high” alright. His words were so telling that my paraphrasing them would be a violent injustice. Ergo, I now present to you the unadulterated transcript pertinent to that part of the speech.
“Here, Bruges is a good example of the European garden. Yes, Europe is a garden. We have built a garden. Everything works. It is the best combination of political freedom, economic prosperity and social cohesion that the humankind has been able to build - the three things together. And here, Bruges is maybe a good representation of beautiful things, intellectual life, wellbeing.
The rest of the world – and you know this very well, Federica – is not exactly a garden. Most of the rest of the world is a jungle, and the jungle could invade the garden. The gardeners should take care of it, but they will not protect the garden by building walls. A nice small garden surrounded by high walls in order to prevent the jungle from coming in is not going to be a solution. Because the jungle has a strong growth capacity, and the wall will never be high enough in order to protect the garden.
The gardeners have to go to the jungle. Europeans have to be much more engaged with the rest of the world. Otherwise, the rest of the world will invade us, by different ways and means.”
Who can, possibly, make this stuff up (as I grab an air-sickness bag).
Jungle Book
The Jungle Book is basically a racist manual alluding to the jungle as a place devoid of ethics where brutality and self-interest reign. The term was first used by Rudyard Kipling in his book (The Jungle Book, published in 1894). The book has been criticized for its orangutans, which are seen as a racist caricature of Black People in the United States, racist imagery and cultural stereotypes. Clearly it is one of Borrell’s favorite reads…while he’s smoking weed.
Or crack, or whatever his “high” ass smokes…or shoots up.
The Law of The Jungle
Like any other environment, there are laws in the jungle. According to the European, the law of the jungle is a system or mode of action in which the strongest survive, presumably as animals in nature or as human beings whose activity is not regulated by the laws or ethics of civilization. The idiom suggests “survival of the strongest.” No argument from me and, being a jungle boy, I should know. But don’t catch you fooling you. The hubris is astounding.
The United States is a jungle, as history clearly illustrates. In its modern incarnation it is a conglomeration of jungles spread across the continent. One of the things about the jungle is that predators prey on the weak, obviously. The gazelle or wildebeest that is lame, injured or otherwise infirmed is targeted by hungry lions and will, inevitably, be tonight’s snack.
When I played football (the only sport I was ever really any good at) we would have film days. It was either the Monday or Tuesday after the last game depending on high school or college. At those film meetings the offense and defense of the upcoming opponent would be studied based on the scouting reports then, subsequently, the team would simulate the plays of the opponent. For instance the first defense would practice against the second offense with the second offense emulating the plays of the upcoming opponent and vice versa for the first offense.
During film day, the various specialty coaches would have break-out sessions. I was a defensive back (safety) so the defensive back coaches would isolate us and review the “film” (lord I am getting old). If the scouting reports uncovered a player on the other team that had an injury, our coaches would tell us to “key” on that injury. If a safety blitz was called and I had knowledge that the quarterback had bruised ribs and the opportunity presented itself that is exactly where I was going to hit him. You get the picture.
That, Scarlett, is the law of the jungle, and I thank you for your patience during my somewhat circuitous digression but there is a method to the seeming madness; and here it cometh.
The Lame Elephant and The Broken Jackass
The attempted assassination of Donald Trump, as interesting as it is on so many levels, is going to lead to more violence and civil instability. Count on it. Since Trump took office, in 2016, how many people have died directly as a result of the amorphous mass of orange nothingness that is he? From the beginning of his administration in Charlottesville to the day he packed his bags on January 6, 2021. Don’t forget Jordan Neely, Ralph Yarl and many others murdered by idiots animated and emboldened by Trump. And all of it was a result of white supremacy, and there will be more. The Democrats are broken and the Republicans are broken. The legislature is broken and the judiciary is broken. Thusly, the society is broken.
What happens if there is another assassination attempt on Trump or a political rival? What happens if the United States is hit with another pandemic this close to a general election? What happens if a major disaster hits the United States, oh let’s say like a magnitude eight earthquake here in the land of shake and bake where I reside that kills thousands?
What happens when the media decides, for whatever nefarious reasons, to sensationalize another George Floyd? I say sensationalize because George Floyd happens every single day in the jungle. The national infrastructure, from water treatment to the electrical grid, is vulnerable and a disaster waiting to happen: three days without power in New York or Los Angeles will kill tens of thousands. I could go on bloviating but the point is the United States is very, very unstable domestically.
Now comes the punch line.
If you have a weak constitution due to denial you may wish to cover your ears (and eyes) because the majority of the world despises the United States. You know, the jungle. From just the murderous adventures in Afghanistan and Iraq there are generations of people that seek retribution on the United States. Think about a five year old when the Iraq war began in 2003. Her school was destroyed so she did not receive a proper education (and Iraqi’s were highly literate) and she is now 26 years-old. Her mother and brother were killed in the bombing and her father lost a leg during the war. Thusly, she is left to care for him. WTF do you think she is going to teach her kids about the “West?”
Libya, Iran, North Korea, Central America, South America, Alkebulan (“Africa”), China, Russia and most of Asia detests the U.S. That is easily 75 percent of the world. A world that sees a dangerous injured animal. An angry world that needs to eat. An attack on the United States is something that keeps me up at night and the national turmoil results in national weakness. Ultimately, the bill becomes due. I’ll leave it to you to ponder and figure out the rest, should you be so inclined. But I will tell you this: the jungle is invasive, just like the man said… and the lions are circling.
A Gun-Damned Assassin Nation, we are; as my trade union, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, I fear, is on the verge of endorsing the menace, reminding me of Weimar Germany's deluded business elite who assumed they could maintain "control" of and manipulate the silly fool.
YES. and how many more young people that are angry will follow his example. As a retired 40 year veteran public school educator, I will guess, this 20 year old assassin is a product of the rotten US public system and policies.. However, Congress has attempted to change how the US supports natural/gestational/biological families.
Here is what I am writing about.
In 2018, Congress passed a law, H.R. 253 The Family First Prevention Services Act. It was to be fully implemented by the fall of 2020. Well...we know what 2020 brought the world: a pandemic.
HR 253, was to keep gestational families together, and bring in social workers, psychologist, et all, to help families of all income-levels and ethnicities, heal emotionally, physically, or both from traumatic experiences.
Research tells us that violent people are products of a poor public social system. For example, an infant separated from its gestational parent, between birth and age 3, is considered a traumatic event, so much so, that the separation can change how the brain (neurologically) interprets relationships. Check out the research from the Harvard Department of Child Development. And a reference book titled: Adopted Killers by Lori Carangelo, (430 persons, all adopted).
As of Tuesday July 16, no journalist has uncovered the childhood experiences of Trumps assassin...
How much should we bet...this 20 year old was fostered several times, before age 12.
