I agree that trump is just a symptom and behind him lies the true sickness that has been accumulating for decades. Thank you for your thoughtful expressive writing, I appreciate you

Hi Rohn - There are times when this old white lady doesn’t want to agree with you, but knows that you probably aren’t wrong. Today I know that what you are saying is the truth. We are in a world of hurt of our own making.

I have an abiding respect and admiration for the intellectual courage that you have exhibited; let it serve as a beacon upon all cloaked in darkness.

This old (92) white guy agrees with everything he's read by you; it's hard reading, but shows that even our greatest "heroes" had feet of clay. I may be old enough to miss most of the violence, but I fear it's coming.

Pardon me . Post went up without my completion. I was going to conclude that at the time I wondered and asked myself 1st “How does that make any difference in being enslaved?” “ Where did they get that info? “ so , indoctrination for the possibility that slavery was real but maybe not real bad began in grade school. Upon reflection I can understand one reason why there are so many racists up in the part of NY.

I can remember , though vaguely, that part of our curriculum in elementary school , maybe 4th grade, was debating the pros vs cons of slavery in the southern United States of America. Why does this memory remain while so much of my memory is lost ? I’m 70 this year.

The part of the evidence for pro slavers/ slavery that I remember

was that “some slave owners were kind to their slaves “ ! Food , shelter, clothing etc. Mind you this was not a classroom in Georgia or Mississippi. This was upstate NY.

Lets consider when the US enslaved white women during Baby Scoop Era 1945-1973 (author Karen Wilson-Buterbaugh). And with SC reversing R v W; cutting Planned Parenthood, cutting Medicade, all just for starters....I have hope, all citizen non-billionaire women will vote against Trump and all his associates. Trump, his administation, his family, Sadly, are a group of sociopaths..

Awesome analysis and assessment, Brother Rohn.

Particularly the 'microprocessor' alert.

They know it's over, but they don't believe it will happen in their lifetime.

They will leave their mess to their babies to wallow in, suffocate, and die.

Where's the love?

It's something their culture has never experienced, and never will.

As Frank said, "That's life."

I am thankful that I continue with my own (individually and collectively).

How Low does the country has to go before, rebirth happens. Seems like the main thing that will change this country, will be the new. generation with maybe a few of the wise elders.

"Birth of a Nation," perhaps?

Hell no that is just what the Nation should shed in a rebirth. Maybe I need to find a different kind of mythology other than death and rebirth if that film comes to mind.

Maybe the firebird, a bird that flies into a fire and when it comes out it has many colors on its feathers. This can be the new image of America. A rainbow colored bird,

And Edgar Stravinsky has already made the music for it.

To all the artist out there, here is the new motif.

That would, were one to wax poetically, be the "afterbirth."
